Ever wanted to reward your customers for the activities they have participated in or for loyalty? Then why not try awarding them with loyalty points, it is similar to the way your Tesco Clubcard works.
Set up Required
First you would need to make sure that the Loyalty Module is activated.
Configuration-System- system configuration-modules (You would need to contact the customer support desk for the access code)
Next you will need to set up the loyalty point value eg = 1p or 2p
Configuration- System- system configuration- loyalty- Loyalty point value.
Following this behind each price level, you award loyalty points for every £ pound spent
In this example =ADULT- Price level – award 1 point for every 12p spent.
Next select the product you wish to award points for, an example for this is a gym session
Configuration- Financial- Products- Products- Modify
Click on the prices tab to invoke loyalty points for each of the member price levels. Please tick Award loyalty points. In this example I have chosen to allow this product to be purchased with Loyalty points, if the customer has enough loyalty points on their member record.
You may also wish to include special promotions where you can set double promotion points in the loyalty point's column to encourage members to take part in those activities.
The customer can then accrue points and also pay by loyalty points. To do this you would need to add a Loyalty Payment method button onto the till
Configuration-financial –payment methods- set the Collection interface to Loyalty points.
In this example the member has 300 points on their member record.
If the member has enough loyalty points accrued, then they can use their points to purchase the product or activity. Such as a Gym product: In this example the gym product =£3.00 the member wishes to pay by loyalty points, so the user selects the loyalty payment method and presses enter.
